My kids are old enough that they know how to do work arounds but young enough that they wont buck the system. ;-). A running talley of hours used and an option to let us add leftover time from the day before if we wanted to. Love this app! Its the "working app Ive found that lets me set an amount of time for the whole day and lets the kids pause so they can save their time for later.

Weve been using Apple Profiler to try to manage things. but that doesnt get us web filtering. We used wifi timers and Verizon to limit times, but my kid figured out how to game Verizons time control by keeping one messaging app open. so that it would stay connected past the time limit. Curbi appears to solve that problem as it is able to fully block any existing connections. Ill update if anything new is found to report.

The app does exactly what it it says and its simple. Price is right. I would recommend to others.

Positively wonderful, this app is designed perfectly.

I tried to disable the sound but didnt work. App should lock without sound alert. What would be better is to have a specific time control to shut the device off. For example, if I want my child to finish playtime at 9:30pm, I could set the time for that and also for different days of the week like disabling weekends.

Do not buy this useless app. The app doesnt lock the screen after time is up. Its just triggers the alarm and even you dont need passcode to turn the alarm off. You can simply double click on home button and kill the app. What a waste of money!

Can not even change time limit. The edit button can not even be clicked. How buggy is that!?

This works similar to the large mobile device managers that schools use for their idevices. with the added benefit of web filtering and time restrictions. I used the web site to signup for an account.

The best workaround to Apples lack of REAL parental controls but I still wish the paid app had more basic features. For a start, a simple log of when (date and time) the timer is activated will make this so much more useful for parents. Please add this. Thanks.

This timer app is misleading and does not really add any restrains to you or your phone to try to limit yourself. It is just a simple timer just like the one integrated into your iOS except this app has somewhat of a more benevolent style. It does not limit your phone playtime or any of the sort. Do not make the same mistake as I did. Youll regret it, I can guarantee it.

Does not set parameters as described. Just a timer that freezes up on occasion.

Right now I can control what my kids are doing with they ipads and iPhones. They became more better at school. All the setup and installation is very smooth and easy; it was worth to spend 99 cents! Highly recommended.

This app sounded perfect but I cannot enter a password. I emailed and didnt hear back. Do not buy this!

Does not alliw me to edit childs name or enter a passcode. I will be requesting a refund.

Does what it says.this app make parents to set a time limit on their childs iPod, iPhone or iPad. It can resets the timer every day.

This app is great to monitor how long my kids use the iPad and now I know how long they actually use it when I set the time !Really great for for multiple kids!

Im locked out of her ipad and the timer app doesnt show up so i can open it or delete it. Im going to have to erase the ipad and im pretty upset about that.

I purchased this app to set time limits on my daughters iPad. I had expected that you could set an amount of time per day and that the app would keep track of it automatically. In reality I discovered that you must set a time limit each time the child picks up the iPad, and it does not pause when the child puts the iPad to sleep. So another words, the child cannot "save" his time and parse it out. This was not what I was looking for.
